Although it has nearly two decades of experience on the automotive market, the 2021 Honda Pilot is actually one of the younger vehicles on the lineup. Compared to models like the Honda Accord and Civic, the Honda Pilot is pretty young. Even still, its now six years into its fifth generation and has plenty of experience under its belt. With a brand-new Special Edition trim level coming to the lineup for 2021, plus a few other enhancements, this three-row midsize crossover makes an excellent option for any driver near Tacoma WA that’s in the market for a stylish, versatile and powerful utility vehicle.
For the 2021 model year, Honda engineers have decided to standardize the nameplate’s 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and Idle Stop technology as well as the dual-zone automatic climate control system. Both of these features add even more value to the entire Honda Pilot lineup of vehicles, which technically includes eight different trim levels, most of which are available with either 2WD or AWD systems.
Smack-dab in the middle of those trim levels is the new Special Edition variant. This new trim level is built right onto the EX-L trim level, which already provides several premium features like leather seats, second-row sunshades and a power driver’s seat. But the SE trim level adds even more value to what the EX-L already has to offer, including several black appointments including roof rails, grille, skid garnishes in the front and rear and 20” black wheels, plus wireless phone charging and the foot-activated hands-free access power tailgate.
Regardless of which trim level you might be interested in, the 2021 Honda Pilot promises to deliver an enjoyable experience each time rubber hits the road. If you’re interested in getting behind the wheel of one for yourself, be sure to get in touch with us right here at Honda of Fife in Washington!
